Article written by guest writer, Matthew Dwyer
If you were watching a movie and you decided you didn’t like a particular scene or behavior of a character, how would you change it? Going directly up to the screen and yelling at it to change would seem silly, right? Could you touch the screen and make it change? Shadow puppets? How about shaking the projector?

For awhile now, I have been wondering what this twitter thing really means. Why do many people love it (probably more techie people related to silicon valley) and why many of my close ones don’t even use it. I decided to research the idea of twitter and want to share the results with you over time. For this test, I will post a live stream of twitter and periodically look at this page and the love shared.
Come view it with me and post your findings. Love. Peace. Harmony.
Findings:
#1 We all need a way to express ourselves and feel connected, so Twitter is a great way to do so, especially with your cell phone anytime anywhere connection.

Try new ways out and share them with your loved ones during the process not at your so-called end.

It seems that, at least in the United States that we always want to find a quick way to deal with our issues. We take a quick pill and mute our ugly symptoms, but what about the cause? Well our memory is short-term and we don’t care, or do we? Yes, we should!
Well, the pharmaceutical companies spend seemingly endless resources every year to promote their products and to hook us into their trap. If our kids are not perfect in school, do we need to immediately slap on to him/her stimulants or mute our kids for our own fake “peace”? Let’s try to solve problems through our own holistic avenues.

Ayurveda is an ancient health science from India dated back at least 5000 years old. It was written in the Vedas, India’s books of knowledge. Ayurveda addresses mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing. It is known as individualized medicine, since two people with the same disease will be treated differently.
Ayurveda looks at the world and everything in it as being made up of 5 elements. These elements are ether, air, fire, water and earth.

Earth’s total surface is an area that measures 197,000,000 square miles and in this large space, we can see the myriad tribes, customs, countries, events, miracles and mishaps. One problem that we do face is our ignorance and our convincing attitude that “our” (referring to a particular group that we associate ourselves with) way is the correct one and that the rest need to be convinced.
Through education and awareness, we help realize our similarities amongst each other, instead of categorizing our differences and distancing ourselves from others through our ignorance tool.
In this fun globalheal.com series, utilizing maps, location and media, we would like to help share our similarities and wondrous examples of love, customs and how we all contribute.
